Born and raised in Norway, Annie was always drawn to the ocean. Her family owned several boats, and she spent hours and hours at sea searching for orcas. Annie actually comes from a bloodline of captains and fishermen.

In her early years she learned quickly to become an advocate for wildlife as she always had the gift of Animal Communication, to understand wildlife beyond words. This drove her into learning everything she could about orcas.

She started up a Facebook page about orcas in 2011, and that led her to be invited to take an education as a Marine Naturalist, with this she now had the ability to start her own Whale Watching company.

She funded Keiko Whale Watching in 2019, and arranged her first retreat.

Annie has for many years also shown her support to other Whale Watching companies in Norway, however after observing how they operate their vessels around the orcas, she has concluded with running her Whale Watching and started her own team to provide the safest and best experience Norway has to offer at sea.
